iOS/Apple Device IPTV Setup Guide
Stream thousands of channels easily on your iPhone or iPad
Download the Smarters Player Lite App
Start by downloading the Smarters Player Lite app from the Apple App Store.
You can either:
- Search for "Smarters Player Lite" in the App Store.
- Or use the direct App Store link provided in your subscription email.
Pro Tip
Make sure you're downloading the official app. Look for "Smarters Player Lite" in the search results and verify the developer name.
Open the App and Prepare to Login
Once the app is installed, open it by tapping on the app icon. You'll be greeted with the login screen.
The app may ask for permissions to access certain features of your device. Grant the necessary permissions to ensure all functionalities work properly.
Enter Your Login Details
Enter the login credentials that were provided to you after purchasing your IPTV subscription:
- Tap on "ADD USER" button.
- Enter your provided username and password.
- You may also need to enter the portal URL (if provided in your subscription details).
- Tap on "ADD USER" again to proceed.
Note
Double-check your login details before submitting. If you make a mistake, you may need to delete the profile and start again.
Wait for Loading
After entering your login details, the app will connect to the IPTV service and load your channels and content. This may take a few seconds depending on your internet connection.
Pro Tip
If loading takes too long (more than a minute), check your internet connection or try restarting the app.
Access Live TV
Once loading is complete, you'll see the app's main interface. To watch live channels:
- Tap on the "Live TV" icon typically represented by a TV or broadcast symbol.
Select Channel Group and Channel
After accessing Live TV:
- Select the channel group or category you want to browse (e.g., Sports, News, Entertainment).
- Browse through the list of available channels.
- Tap on a channel name to start watching.
Note
Channel organization and groups may vary depending on your IPTV provider.
Watch in Full Screen
When you select a channel, it will start playing. To enjoy in full screen:
- Double-tap on the small video screen to expand it to full screen.
- You can rotate your device to landscape orientation for a better viewing experience.
Pro Tip
Swipe up or down on the screen while watching to adjust brightness. Swipe left or right to seek through the current program. Tap on the screen once to show or hide playback controls.
Set Up EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
To access program information and schedules:
- Simply click on "Install EPG" when prompted.
- No need to add any EPG URL manually as it's automatically configured.
Note
EPG information helps you see what's currently playing and what's coming up next on each channel.
Setup Complete
Congratulations! You've successfully set up IPTV on your iOS/Apple device. You can now enjoy streaming live TV channels, movies, and series.
From the main menu, you can access:
- Live TV - Watch live television channels
- VOD - Video on demand (movies)
- Series - TV shows and series
- Catch Up - Replay recently aired content (if available)
Pro Tip
Keep your iOS device updated to ensure the best compatibility with the IPTV app. Also, consider connecting to WiFi when streaming to avoid high mobile data usage.
